Video Submissions for Diocese of Charleston Video Contest

In 2023, the Diocese of Charleston held “The Gift of the Eucharist” video contest for parishes to submit testimonies of parishioners. Our parish had one winner in the young adult category, Anyvry Hernandez. JORS submitted five videos total and we wanted to highlight the beautiful testimonies of the other parishioners who participated in the contest.

En 2023, la Diócesis de Charleston organizó el concurso de vídeo «El don de la Eucaristía» para que las parroquias presentaran testimonios de feligreses. Nuestra parroquia tuvo un ganador en la categoria de adultos jovenes, Vry Hernandez. JORS presento cinco videos en total y hemos querido destacar los hermosos testimonios de los otros feligreses que participaron en el concurso.

Parish Office Closed in Observance of the Triduum/Oficina Parroquial Cerrada en Observación del Triduo

The JORS parish office will be closed Friday, March 29th through Monday, April 1st in observance of the Triduum. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, April 2nd.
 
La oficina parroquial de la JORS permanecerá cerrada desde el viernes 29 de marzo hasta el lunes 1 de abril para celebrar el Triduo. El horario regular de oficina se reanudará el martes, 2 de abril.

Revised Holy Week Schedule/Horario revisado de Semana Santa

Revised Holy Week Schedule:
  • No Mass on Holy Tuesday, March 26 – priests will be attending the Chrism Mass in Charleston.
  • Mass schedule for Easter Sunday is our normal Sunday schedule.
 
Horario revisado de Semana Santa
  • No habrá Misa el Martes Santo, 26 de marzo – los sacerdotes asistirán a la Misa Crismal en Charleston.
  • El horario de misas para el Domingo de Pascua es el habitual de los domingos.

Parish Cleanup/Limpieza de la parroquia

Reminder:
Our Parish Cleanup is this Saturday, March 16th from 9:30 am to 12 noon, rain or shine. Please bring rakes, gloves, grass/lawn blowers, and lawn chairs for lunch after the cleanup.
