The Rosary Buddy ministry is an innovative way to include more people in the daily prayer of the Holy Rosary. Not everyone can participate in in-person Rosary prayer groups due to various reasons. Obstacles such as physical limitations, mental health issues, time constraints, and transportation difficulties affect one’s ability to develop a daily habit of praying the Rosary. By offering a one-on-one experience through alternate means of communication such as cellphones, FaceTime, or WhatsApp, the Rosary Buddy ministry can help bring the mysteries and prayers of the Rosary to individuals wherever they are.
How Does It Work?
Parishioners will volunteer to be a Rosary Buddy Leader and sign up using the link below. The role of a Rosary Buddy Leader is to pray the Rosary with another parishioner (Rose Bud) who desires to pray the Rosary but cannot do so in person.A Rosary Buddy Leader chooses the times of day and days of the week he/she is available to pray the Rosary.
Parishioners who need a Rosary Buddy will also sign up using the link below. Those parishioners are signing up to be a Rosary Bud. Then, Rosary Buddies and Rosary Buds are matched according to preferred communication methods and time availability.It is time to pray the Rosary!
