ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
On my knees, before the great multitude of heavenly witnesses I offer myself, soul and body, to You, Eternal Spirit of God. I adore the brightness of Your purity, the unerring keenness of Your justice, and the might of Your love. You are the Strength and Light of my soul. In You, I live and move and am. I desire never to grieve You by unfaithfulness to grace and I pray with all my heart to be kept from the smallest sin against You. Mercifully guard my every thought and grant that I may always watch for Your light and listen to Your voice and follow Your gracious inspirations. I cling to You and give myself to You and ask You by Your compassion to watch over me in my weakness. Holding the pierced Feet of Jesus and looking at His Five Wounds and trusting in His Precious Blood and adoring His opened Side and stricken Heart, I implore You, Adorable Spirit, Helper of my infirmity, so to keep me in Your grace that I may never sin against You. Give me grace, O Holy Spirit of the Father and the Son to say to You always and everywhere, “Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.” Amen
PRAYER FOR THE SEVEN GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Christ Jesus, before ascending into heaven, You promised to send the Holy Spirit to Your apostles and disciples. Grant that the same Spirit may perfect in our lives the work of Your grace and love. Grant us the Spirit of Fear Of The Lord that we may be filled with a loving reverence toward You; the Spirit of Piety that we may find peace and fulfillment in the service of God while serving others; the Spirit of Fortitude that we may bear our cross with You and, with courage, overcome the obstacles that interfere with our salvation; the Spirit of Knowledge that we may know You and know ourselves and grow in holiness; the Spirit of Understanding to enlighten our minds with the light of Your truth; the Spirit of Counsel that we may choose the surest way of doing Your will, seeking first the Kingdom; Grant us the Spirit of Wisdom that we may aspire to the things that last forever; Teach us to be Your faithful disciples and animate us in every way with Your Spirit. Amen.
Acto de Consagración al Espíritu Santo
Postrado de rodillas ante la gran multitud de testigos celestiales, me ofrezco entero, en cuerpo y alma a Ti, Eterno Espíritu de Dios. Adoro el brillo de tu Pureza, la infalible precisión de tu justicia, y el poder de tu amor. Tú eres la fuerza y la luz de mi alma. En Ti yo habito y fluyo y existo. Mi deseo es nunca afligirte con mis ofensas y rezo con todo mi corazón para apartarme hasta de la mas mínima ocasión de pecado en contra tuya. Misericordiosamente resguarda cada uno de mis pensamientos y concédeme que siempre vea tu Luz, que escuche tu Voz y seguir tu dulce inspiración. Me aferro y me ofrezco a Ti, y recurro a tu compasión para que me protejas en momentos de debilidad. Abrazando los Pies perforados de Jesús, contemplando sus Cinco Heridas, y confiando en su Preciosícima Sangre, adorando la Llaga en su costado y su Corazon afligido, te suplico Adorado Espíritu, Auxiliador en mi debilidad, que me mantengas en tu Gracia, para nunca pecar en tu contra. Oh, Santísimo Espíritu del Padre y del Hijo, dame la gracia para que, en todo lugar y por siempre, pueda yo decirte “Habla Señor, que tu siervo te escucha.” Amén.
Oración por Los Siete Dones del Espíritu Santo
Cristo Jesús, que antes de ascender al cielo prometiste enviar al Espíritu Santo a tus apóstoles y discípulos; concédenos que el mismo Espíritu venga a nuestras vidas y perfeccione las obras de tu Gracia y de tu Amor. Concédenos Señor, el Don del Santo Temor de Dios, para que nos llene de amorosa reverencia hacia Ti; concédenos el Don de La Piedad, para encontrar la paz y alegría que nos trae el servicio a Dios y a nuestros hermanos. Concédenos el Don de la Fortaleza para sobrellevar nuestra cruz contigo, y con valentía, para poder superar los obstáculos que interfieren con nuestra salvación. Concédenos el Don del Conocimiento, para aprender mas sobre Dios y sobre nosotros mismos y poder así aumentar nuestra Fe. Concédenos el Don del Entendimiento, para iluminar nuestras mentes con La Luz de tu Verdad. Concédenos el Don del Consejo, para poder elegir la mejor manera de cumplir tu santa voluntad, buscando primero El Reino de Dios. Concédenos el Don de la Sabiduría, para que aspiremos solamente por las cosas que son eternas. Enseñamos a ser tus fieles discípulos y fortalécenos con tu Espíritu en todos los sentidos. Amén.
