The Knights of Columbus are proud to announce a bible study program for all men of our parish. The program is called Cor, which is Latin for heart, and is taken from the motto of St. John Henry Newman, Cor ad cor loquitur, which is Latin for “Heart speaks to heart.” Cor exists to form and strengthen Catholic men in faith and virtue as missionary disciples by drawing them into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, formation and fraternity.
The goal of each Cor Meeting is to provide the opportunity for men to encounter Christ (to be evangelized), to strengthen their bonds of brotherhood, and to prepare them for the courageous mission of evangelization. Cor fosters spiritual growth and strengthens fraternity and helps to make Catholic men better husbands, fathers, and community members.
Please join us on Monday October 6, at 6:00 pm downstairs in the Knights of Columbus meeting room. Father Eric is our spiritual director and will be present at many of the meetings. The program is open to all men of the parish, Bibles will be available, just bring an open heart and a desire to get closer to Jesus Christ through studying His word. For now, we will be meeting on the first Monday of each month at 6:00 pm.
