Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As we near the close of another liturgical year and look forward with hope to the joyous birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, let us open our hearts to those in our parish family who may be struggling this holiday season.
The Advent season invites us into a time of peace, love, and joyful anticipation. But for some families, the weight of financial hardship can dim the light of Christmas. That’s why JORS is once again sponsoring our Annual Angel Tree—a beautiful way for us to come together as a community and share Christ’s love in a tangible way.
Through the Angel Tree, families facing financial challenges can request help with Christmas gifts for their children and immediate family members. And with your generosity, these families can experience the comfort and joy that this sacred season brings.
We warmly invite those in need to apply for assistance, and we encourage those who are able to consider sponsoring a family. Together, we can help make Christmas a little brighter for those who need it most.
Key Dates:
Applications Available: Beginning October 27 in the parish or Religious Education office during regular hours
Application Deadline: November 21 at 12:00 PM
Angel Tree Displayed: November 29 in the church vestibule—come choose an angel to sponsor!
Gift Deadline: Drop off on December 11, December 12, and December 14 (by 1:00 pm) so they can be joyfully distributed on December 16.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo:
A medida que nos acercamos al final de otro año litúrgico y esperamos con esperanza el alegre nacimiento de nuestro Salvador, Jesucristo, abramos nuestros corazones a aquellos miembros de nuestra familia parroquial que puedan estar pasando por dificultades en estas fiestas.
El tiempo de Adviento nos invita a un tiempo de paz, amor y alegre anticipación. Pero para algunas familias, el peso de las dificultades económicas puede empañar la luz de la Navidad. Por eso, JORS vuelve a patrocinar nuestro Árbol del Ángel anual, una hermosa forma de unirnos como comunidad y compartir el amor de Cristo de manera tangible.
A través del Árbol del Ángel, las familias que se enfrentan a dificultades económicas pueden solicitar ayuda para los regalos de Navidad de sus hijos y familiares directos. Y con vuestra generosidad, estas familias pueden experimentar el consuelo y la alegría que trae esta época sagrada.
Invitamos cordialmente a quienes lo necesiten a solicitar ayuda, y animamos a quienes puedan a que consideren la posibilidad de patrocinar a una familia. Juntos, podemos ayudar a que la Navidad sea un poco más alegre para quienes más lo necesitan.
Fechas importantes:
Solicitudes disponibles: a partir del 27 de octubre en la parroquia o en la oficina de Educación Religiosa durante el horario habitual.
Fecha límite para presentar las solicitudes: 21 de noviembre a las 12:00 del mediodía.
Exposición del Árbol del Ángel: 29 de noviembre en el vestíbulo de la iglesia. ¡Ven a elegir un ángel para apadrinar!
Fecha límite para entregar los regalos: Entrégalos el 11, 12 y 14 de diciembre (antes de la 1:00 p. m.) para que puedan distribuirse con alegría el 16 de diciembre.
